Ethiopia Luxury Safari Experiences

Travel through a medieval world of historical treasures, with Christian beliefs and practices little changed in thousands of years. Mountains and plateaus divided by the Great Rift Valley surrounded by lowlands, semi-desert, depressions and

tropical forests.

One of the oldest countries in the world, with nine World Heritage Sites, fascinating tribe’s people, centuries-old monasteries full of historical treasures, archeological sites, and hundreds of religious architectural marvels throughout the country. Nowhere in the world, is as well endowed with ancient traditional and tribal cultures than Ethiopia. It is also one of the oldest countries in the world, a land of deep history and fascinating tribes.

There is an endless amount of adventure excursions, sightseeing, and cultural activities to experience in Ethiopia. Its dramatic landscapes are full of mountains, lakes, waterfalls, and arid deserts. Our journeys to Ethiopia take in Gondor, Lalibela, the Simien Mountain National Park, the Danakil Depression, Bale Mountains National Park, Tigray, Harer and the Omo Valley and are mostly done by helicopter or fixed wing private charter aircraft.

The Danakil Depression is one of the world’s most remote spots and a part of the Earth that remains geologically unstable and in constant flux. To the south, the Simien Mountains National Park and Bale Mountains National Park are ideal for trekking and spotting animals and birds that cannot be seen anywhere else in the world like the Simien Wolf, the Walia Ibex, the Gelada Baboon and the Lammergeyer Vulture.

Ethiopia is also the second oldest Christian nation in the world after Armenia, with millennia-old Christian ceremonies still practiced today, most notably in the magnificent rock-hewn underground churches of Lalibela, the grass-roofed monasteries of Bahir Dar, and the Mariamtsion chapel, built on the site of Ethiopia’s first church and the supposed resting place of Moses’s original tablets on which are inscribed the Ten Commandments.

Historians and archeologists believe that it may be the birthplace of humanity since the discovery of the oldest living hominid fossil “Lucy”, believed to date back 3.5 million years in the northern region of the country.

Join us on the most amazing cultural expedition of your life, to see people and lifestyles very unaffected by the western world that you will feel nothing but sheer privilege at being able to travel amongst them.
